Here's a girl who is up for any challenge! Brooklyn began studying with me less than two months ago. In seven short weeks, she completed her first book! Brooklyn is barely five years old, but she doesn't let that stop her. She practices using the Piano Maestro app, and gains confidence and accuracy in her playing. When I think of all the fun ahead for Brooklyn - I am truly thankful to be her teacher!  I had better be rested up for Brooklyn's lesson. Here we are singing "Yankee Doodle" - and discovering the steps and skips in the melody by stepping and skipping on my stairs. I use methods like this to help students visually and physically feel what the music sounds like. Brooklyn has an amazing ear for music.
