How does a busy mom get the most bang for her buck out of piano lessons? By providing an ipad for her son to use during practice time!
Along with the paper copy, Austin practiced on an ipad with a very powerful, fun, and engaging app called Piano Maestro. This app gives instant encouragement and feedback to students, and it feels like a video game! There are stars awarded, levels unlocked, and advances in rank. All of this, and it helps accuracy in practice.
The best part - Austin's mom could have spent money on lessons without the app, and it would have cost around $1098 (around nine months' study) for Austin to complete the book. Instead, as a part of my studio, Austin received a subscription to the app for FREE - and reduced his learning time significantly. His mom only spent $125 in lessons for Austin to learn the material. (I think the family borrowed an ipad from Grandma, which made for more savings!)
(I don't get any compensation from Apple to endorse ipads; I am a fan of them because of all the help they give to my students.)
The best part for me is seeing the smile of accomplishment on Austin's face. The next best part; I get to use the lesson time to teach Austin how to play more artistically, how to use proper technique, and how to play lead sheets for fun.
If you want to get the best bang for your buck, contact me for information on lessons. A phone chat is best; we can dialogue about your child and their personality and goals. Call or text 940.395.0311 - and we can set up a time to talk. Or better yet, make a quick appointment to see the studio for yourself - and have a demonstration of how Piano Maestro can help any student succeed!
